The view was absolutely mind-blowing, right in front of the caldera on top of a cliff. The old cave-style villa was super authentic and the neighborhood was the most beautiful we've seen. The staff was so friendly and helpful with a smile. We had the most relaxing stay and didn't want to leave.

Believe me...only the view!

Besides the view, nothing is as described. There is no room service to speak of and definitely nothing after 22h00. No Ice available at 18h00 on a 38 degree day. The bathroom is a dump...and looks like one. The bath has a distressed look (Hoping it was a "look"). The "shower" is in the bath and shower head is so tiny it wood take a poodle 30 minutes to get wet and that is only if the water pressure happens to be good that day! You have 1 (bbc news) tv channel on a tv the same size as your laptop! No Wifi as advertised - only excuses The sewage system is non existent so one is expected to deposit one's waste in a plastic bag! There is no mention of the steps that have to be climbed to get anywhere. You had better be in good shape! Would not recommend to my worst enemy!

The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, with a panoramic view of Firostefani and Oia. Enjoying breakfast on the balcony was a truly special experience. The staff were fantastic, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

The location was prime and peaceful, close to a bus stop, liked this place. We were upgraded to excellent superior studio with a caldera view.

We were originally booked at Krokos Villas but got upgraded to its sister hotel, Avaton Resort. It was a delightful surprise! Our double room in a cave house had a stunning view of the infinity pool and the sunset. Breakfast served on the balcony with views of the caldera and the volcano was amazing. The staff at both Krokos and Avaton were friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. We had an absolutely fantastic stay!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the location was absolutely fantastic, right on the cliffs with a breathtaking view of the volcano. We couldn't believe our luck. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lastly, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the view from our balcony got even better when we soaked in the hot tub. Plus, the daily breakfast served with an exceptional view of the caldera was the perfect start to our day.

All was more than satisfactory.

The location was amazing and beautiful, adjacent to the cliffs with a gorgeous view of the volcano and the old port and the buses to the rest of the island and restaurants and the walking path to Fira.

Great Caldera view and delicious breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff who assisted with our luggage. Perfect location for watching the sunrise and sunset.

Difficult to locate the reception area and navigate the steps with luggage. The room we initially received was small and outdated.

I could not be happier with my stay at Krokos. The studio was excellent, done in true Cycladic style, so much so that people stopped to take a photo of the outside. It came with a private terrace overlooking the caldera and the inside was just as impressive. The breakfast selection is huge and because the owners run two other nearby complexes, you get to use two jacuzzis again with tremendous views. Really looking forward to going back.

The hotel's location on the cliffs offers a breathtaking view of the volcano. We loved sitting on our balcony and enjoying the spectacular view of the caldera. The rooms were well maintained and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast served on our balcony with the exceptional view was an unforgettable experience.
